METAL POINT - FRESCO RENDERINGS
The almost lost, Renaissance era drawing technique “Metal Point” is from a time when draftsman and artist were one and the same, an era when
simple marked lines created masterpieces of art and architecture and metals used for drawing were common lead and copper, as well as prized
gold and silver - the metals I use almost exclusively. The dynamic interplay of materials and techniques result in artwork that cannot be replicated or reproduced. Each composition is created by only the hand of the artist resulting in truly one of-a-kind, original works.

My Metal Point art works are created by drawing with 24 k gold and
.999 pure silver over mineral-toned Fresco like base panels. This combined master-craft technique possess a luminous quality that can only be fully appreciated while in the company of the piece as the metals and minerals carry and reflect the lighting of their environment.
